Astier de Villatte does not just manufacture any scented candles, incense, stationery and dishes. Each product is unusual, unique and, well, almost a bit magical. 

Scented Candles

Therefore, it should not come as a surprise that the candles by Astier de Villatte don’t just smell of Vanilla or give off a monotonous scent of lavender. Instead, Astier de Villatte takes us on an olfactory journey whose anchor points are real or fictitious places. Each candle captures the unique scent of a particular place. Be it Cambridge, Kobe, Hollywood, Jerusalem, or Villa Medici. The candles’ names read like a trip around the world. 

A world trip without leaving our own living room? This is exactly the kind of magic Astier de Villatte had in mind. 

The scented candles are of the highest quality, made of a mix of plant-based and beeswax, with a wick made of pure braided cotton and a burning period of 60-70 hours. They are, quite literally, made in Europe. The ceramic holder is made by hand in the old Napoleonic silversmith workshops in Paris.The glass holder is mouth-blown in Tuscany. There are also matching, handmade lids with unusual decorative elements. 

Incense 

The Astier de Villatte incense follow the same concept of the olfactory world trip. They are hand-made in the traditional style on a small Japanese island. Cleanser
