Hans Harald Rath designed the drinking cup set No. 267, better known as Alpha, in 1952. He took his inspiration from the copper cups he found in the collections at MAK Vienna.
The cups embody the 1950s style: shapely, compact, stackable. Made of fine muslin glass, the cups are mouth-blown into wooden molds, giving them their delicate elegance.
This series is available in clear glass and six colors: citrin, rosalin, amethyst, light blue, light green, and grey.
