String Office
A bookshelf which is easy to assemble, mount, send, and financially attainable? A true rarity in Swedish homes in the 1940s – prompting the Bonnier Publishing House to start an open competition to solve this.
The winners of this competition? Nisse and Kajsa Strinning. The result? The String Selving System.
In 2009, this shelving system was declared a piece of art in accordance with the Copyright Act. It offers storage solutions for almost all homes, public spaces, and offices with its timeless design. Its relaunch in 2004 introduced a sustainability strategy, where the environment, quality and social responsibility became driving forces. In addition, String bases all its design decisions on the following principles: form, function, quality, a fair price, and sustainability.
We will be happy to advise on the available options.
