Cameo Madurai by Trudon

Scented Cameo
Trudon

The first person to bring jasmine to Europe was the duke of Tuscany after a trip to India in 1690 – a flower with origins in Arabia. Whether in its fresh or dried form, jasmine plays a key role in the myths, legends and daily rituals of India. Loose tea is often enriched with the scent of Arabian jasmine, jasmine flowers are often braided into flower necklaces.
During spiritual practices, these fragrant blossoms are included as offerings in Hindu temples.

Top note: Ylang-ylang
Heart note: Arabian jasmine
Base note: Benzoin

The Madurai cameo is made of natural ingredients only, ensuring a fabulous olfactory experience in your home. Madurai is one of the scents from the „Les Belles Matières“ collection by Trudon.

It is an invitation to take a voyage to the origins of rare scents: tangerine from Calabria, sandalwood from New Caledonia, jasmine from India. This collection invites us to immerse ourselves in moments of landmark discoveries in the field of botany, and to be part of the olfactory adventures developing from them. „Les Belles Matières“, as the name suggests, is an homage to the pure beauty of these primal ingredients.

Trudon was founded in 1643, making it the oldest candle manufacturer in France. For centuries, its scented candles have been delivered to important churches and royal courts, including the court of Louis XVI.
The wax used at Trudon is unique, the scents are completely natural and without paraffin. The wide and unusual selection of scents make each candle an olfactory pleasure.

The cameo is available in the scents Fir, Spiritus Sancti, Ernesto, Abd el Kader, Solis Rex, Héméra, Reggio, Madurai, Cire, Mary, Hupo, Joséphine or Cyrnos and is to be warmed in the Promeneuse. It melts after about 10 minutes, releasing its gorgeous fragrance which lasts for about eight hours. It can be used once or multiple times. If you would like to use the cameo multiple times, simply lift up the glass and extinguish the flame.

Manufactured in the Trudon factory in Normandy, France since 1643
