The Reading Chair is a slim, elegant dining chair, which Finn Juhl originally designed for the Bovirke furniture manufacturers. Its name is not actually based on the town in southern England, but rather on its backrest’s floating closing strip – similar to a reading book, if you will. Despite its petite stature, the Reading Chair is comfortable in any seating position.

 

The Reading Chair is available in a combination of oak wood and teak, as well as in a black lacquered version. The seat may be upholstered with leather or fabric.
