Wall Lamp AJ Eklipta

Wall Lamp
Arne Jacobsen, 1959
Louis Poulsen

In 1959, Arne Jacobsen designed the AJ Eklipta for the town hall of Rødovre in two sizes, 350 mm and 450 mm in diameter. It was used for staircases as well as on the outside of the building. A later version with a diameter of 220 mm was designed for the St. Catherine’s College at Oxford. Arne Jacobsen always preferred the biggest model for staircases.
