Baker Sofa
The Baker Sofa, which Finn Juhl created for the furniture manufacturer Hollis Baker in 1951, started the Danish Design Boom in the United States and marked the beginning of an era known as Danish Modern.
The sculptural sofa, with its gently rolling lines, unmistakably references modern art. A characteristic Finn Juhl element is the two-piece backrest, which seems to be almost weightless thanks to a slender wooden frame.
The Baker Sofa is available with an oak or walnut frame and may be upholstered with a variety of textiles and leathers. We will be happy to provide further consultation with regard to choosing the perfect model for your home.
