CH25
Its tapered hind legs are what defines the CH25’s looks – easy yet dynamic. Its release was somewhat of a revolution: The massive stature, hitherto unheard of for a lounge chair, in combination with an upholstery made of paper cord, a material that had only been used during the bleak and barren years of war, made quite the impact on the furniture design scene. Wegner specifically liked the sturdiness of his novelty product, which in the end did prevail – the CH25 is a truly comfortable and durable seat.
The CH25 lounge chair is available soaped, oiled, or white oiled oak, as well as lacquered in the CHS colors; furthermore, smoked oak and walnut are available. Seat and bacl are made of a paper cord wickerwork in a black or natural color.
