Drop Chair
The Drop Chair was designed by Arne Jacobsen alongside the Egg, the Swan, the 3300 Series for the SAS Royal Hotel. Unlike the other designs, the Drop was initially just produced in a limited edition, strictly for the hotel. 50 years later, Fritz Hansen decided to end its hibernation and relaunched it.
Thus, Fritz Hansen’s product range has won a light, lively, and comfortable chair, which offers a great deal of mobility.
The seat shell is made of synthetics and is available in six colors (White, Black, Storm Blue, Stone Grey, Burgundy Red, and Shadow Grey). Furthermore, the Drop may be upholstered with a variety of leathers or fabrics. The frame has four legs with may be made of chromium-plated steel or powder-coated in a color matching the seat. Fabric-upholstered chairs are available with legs in chrome or powder-coated in black or white.
