The Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen created numerous designs in the 1950s and 60s, which were commercially successful and critically acclaimed. It is safe to say that his straightforward style made design history. Among his principal work is the interior design for the Hotel Royal, a hotel in central Copenhagen designed for the Danish Airline SAS between 1956-1961. The most famous piece to emerge from this œuvre was the Egg Chair – one of the most prolific chairs of Danish Design.
At Falkenberg, we offer the Egg Chair in every available version – please do not hesitate to inquire about the styles available (e.g. in leather or the fabric groups Hallingdal, Divina or Comfort). A matching stool is available separately.
We will be happy to provide consultation with regard to the options available and will be happy to help you find the optimal solution for your living space.
