France Chair
Finn Juhl designed the FJ 1360, as the chair was originally called, in 1956 for the manufacturer France & Son and the American market. It became – together with numerous other designs by Finn Juhl – a great success.
The chair was designed for industrial production and – compared to other chairs by Finn Juhl – it has a simpler appearance. Nevertheless, the organic shape of the chair and its very own design language are also typical for Finn Juhl’s design.
For us, the light wooden frame and the almost floating upholstery elements make the chair appear virtually aerodynamic.
The France Chair is available in black varnished beech, oak, smoked oak or walnut and in various fabric and leather versions.
We will be happy to assist you with choosing the right one for you.
