Finn Juhl’s attentiveness and love for detail become apparent in the way he finds inspiration in daily life: The designs for chair, footstool as well as two- and three-seater sofas are based on a flood gate in the vicinity of Hiroshima, Japan.
Maybe that is why the Japan series is more reserved than other Finn Juhl designs. The lightness of the detached backrests however clarify that the Japan Series unmistakably is part of the Finn Juhl family.
The pieces from the Japan series are manufactured upon request and are available with a frame made from oak or walnut and several different textile upholsteries. With regard to this, will happily provide further consultation in our showroom.
