Like no other, 1970s design is characterized by gaudy, cheerful colors and a radical experimenting with form – Verner Panton’s mushroom-shaped Panthella Mini table lamp seems virtually prototypical for the time’s psychedelic pieces.
The Panthella Mini table lamp is made from acrylic and available in the colors white, black, orange, opaline white, purple, blue-green, red, yellow, yellow-green, pink, as well as blue. Compared to the original design from 1971, this re-launch is considerably smaller (shade diameter 40 cm vs. 25 cm). Additionally, a metallic shade version has been made available, which realizes Verner Panton’s original vision – the light is being directed downward, hitting the trumpet-shaped base and spreading into the room from there.
