The NH01 Chair by the Japanese designer Nendo refocuses on the narrative power of natural materials, thus focusing on the essentials of cabinetmaking: The NH01 Chair is the first chair made entirely of wood since 1957. Carefully and manually crafted, it unites Danish craftmanship with Japanese design – comfort meets a slim shape, delicacy meets stability: East meets West.
With its elegantly winding links, it seems as if seat, armrests and the backrests were barely touching – thus evoking images of the big stars in the furniture game.

 

The NH01 is the ideal companion for the dinner table, but stars just as much in a solo appearance. It is made from massive wood in combination with veneer and is available in oak, black tinted oak and beech.
