In many African and Asian cultures, elephants symbolize fortune and prosperity. In Thai culture, for instance, small elephant figurines are positioned near windows, so that they may invite fortune inside. With his happy, welcoming face, we find August Göhring’s Elephant Edward exceptionally apt for this task!
