What gives humanity more wings than faith, hope and love? In his Essentials-Collection, Patrick Muff unites the theological virtues with death, thus creating a reflection of human existence.
Patrick Muff chooses a wing as the symbol of hope, even though traditionally hope is reified by an anchor, branch or bird. Yet Muff’s simplified representation fascinates with its fine relief impressions and the harmonious curve of its form.
