In religious paintings, the strong stag beetle signifies Christ’s victory over evil. However, the stag beetle has been a symbol of strength and assertiveness since pre-Christian times – in ancient Rome, its antlers were worn to ward off evil.
Patrik Muff’s Stag Beetle resembles the living specimen in size and shape and is hand made from white porcelain or black bisque porcelain. The legs are made from (rhodanized) silver. We will be happy to provide consulting in our showroom and assist you in finding the perfect model for you.
