During a walk on the beach the designer Ted Muehling came across sun-bleached coral bits, which inspired him to transfer their essential qualities onto a vase and a votive.
With its shapeliness, the coral vase casts a spell on us like a beauty from the depth of the sea. The surface of the slightly curved, thin-walled vase, which is covered in countless tiny holes, equals a coral in look and feel.
Ted Muehling’s coral vase is handmade from white bisque porcelain and glazed on the inside. Due to its height, it is most suitable for long-stemmed flowers.
