During a walk on the beach, the designer Ted Muehling came across sun-bleached coral bits, which inspired him to transfer their essential qualities onto a vase and a votive.
The coral votive is pleasantly curved and – much like a coral – covered with countless holes of different sizes, which provokes an astonishing glowing property. The votive is made from white bisque porcelain and glazed on the inside. Its texture strongly resembles that of an actual coral.
