What do a fox, a hippo, a snail, and the Frog King have in common?
They are all part of the Animal Bowl Series, which Dutch designer Hella Jongerius modelled for Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg in 2004 and 2012.
The Animal Bowls consist of an animal figure, crafted after historic models, placed in the center of a discreet, almost minimalistic bowl. The lifelike animals are adorned with prints from the Nymphenburg archive of painting, giving the bowls that certain something – and convey that trademark Jongerius love of patterns.
The Animal Bowls are handmade as well as hand painted and are available with a fox, a hippo, a dog, the Frog Prince, a fawn, a snail, a bird, and a hare. We will be happy to provide consulting in our showroom with regard to the versions available and find the one that is perfectly suited for you.
