Oxford Chair
The Oxford Chair was originally designed by Arne Jacobsen for the St. Catherine’s College at Oxford – the idea was to create a seat suitable for the venerable professors. Thanks to its high backrest, it keeps inspiring awe today, and is adaptable to many environments.
The Oxford Classic is made of a compression-moulded sliced veneer and comes in different styles: With high/medium backrest as well as with/withour armrests. The frame is available in two styles: silk-matt aluminum (standard) or chromium-plated. It may be combined with aluminum-capped double wheels and black a black synthetic casing (in which case the seat level is adjustable) or with dark grey synthetic finishes (in which case the seat level is fixed and has a spring function).
It is available fully upholstered (with a great variety of fabrics or leathers to choose from).
