Poul Kjærholm’s discreetly elegant PK22™ is an incarnation of his signature look, his search for the ideal form as well as the ever-present industrial air. Its steel-frame’s profile is based on his final project at the Copenhagen School of Arts and Crafts, the PK25™, also known as Element Chair.
In 1957, the PK22™ was awarded with the Grand Prix at the Milan Triennale, the most relevant furniture fair worldwide. This award fast-tracked Kjærholm’s career and made him world-renowned.
