The PK31 seating elements are timeless, elegant pieces of furniture. They mark a change in Kjærholm’s views: While his earlier pieces were heavily relying on being made from one piece and being elaborately processed, his designs gained a new dimension with the PK31 – it became Kjærholm’s vision to design furniture which reflects the size of the room it is in.
With this in mind, Kjærholm deliberately separated back rest, seat and sides, treating them each as single units. As a result, the PK31 is available as a chair, two-seater or three-seater sofa as well as with a customized number of elements.
The PK31 is made with a frame of matt chrome spring steel and may be upholstered with a variety of leathers. We will be happy to provide consultation with regard to choosing the perfect model for your home.
