A square surface is floating on a filigree steel frame, upholstered with water-buffalo leather, one of the most intriguing leather types there are. The PK81 is the 2.0 of the classic Kjærholm daybed. First designed for the city hall in Tårnby, Denmark, this daybed was relaunched by Fritz Hansen within the frame of the PK4x20 series, which is characterized by small quantities and rare materials.
The PK81 is available with a frame of satin-brushed stainless steel, a painted lower plate made from plywood and a surface made from water buffalo leather, filled with granulated foam and Hairlok.
