There is hardly any design history as charming as the one about the PK9: In order to create the most comfortable seat for a minimalistic dining chair, Poul Kjærholm molded it after the imprint his wife’s bottoms left in the sand during a trip to the beach.
The result, a combination of unique design and a cushy seat, even made it to the dinner table at French presidential palace under Valéry Giscard.
The PK9 is made from a frame of satin-brushed stainless steel and may be fully upholstered with a variety of leathers. We will be happy to provide consultation with regard to choosing the perfect model for your home.
