Graceful waves dominate the form of the FH429: from the seat, which rises into the backrest through a single curved frame section, to arm-rests and legs, which find each other through a harmonious rounding. In Frits Henningsen’s last piece, comfort, craftsmanship and timeless elegance are joined into a chair, whose fine figure embodies the spearhead of the Danish Design revolution.
Originally, only twenty FH429s were launched; Carl Hansen & Søn is reissuing this model in careful accordance with the designer’s family.
The FH429 is available with a frame made of oak or walnut and may be soaped, varnished, oiled or painted and may be upholstered with a variety of textiles or leathers. We will be happy to provide consultation with regard to choosing the perfect model for your home.
