Madurai embodies the splendor of Indian jasmine. In 1690, the Duke of Tuscany was the first to bring jasmine from India with him – a flower that originally came from Arabia.

 

Whether fresh or dried, jasmine still plays a key role in the myths, legends and daily rituals of India today. Loose tea is often filled with the scent of Arabian jasmine and jasmine is often braided into flower necklaces. Worshiped spiritually, the wonderfully fragrant flower is also often given as a gift in Hindu temples.

 

Madurai is one of the fragrances from the “Les Belles Matières” collection by Trudon.

 

An invitation to a journey that takes us to the origins of rare fragrances: mandarine from Calabria, sandalwood from New Caledonia and finally jasmine from India. We dive into moments of great botanical discovery and are there when exciting olfactory adventures emerge. “Les Belles Matières” is – as the name suggests – a homage to the pure beauty of these very original ingredients.

The collection of Home Objects welcomes a new icon: the Trudon Diffuser joins the Room Spray and La Promeneuse to further perfume interiors.

 

Shaped out of the same emblematic Trudon-green glass, the 350ml fluted container is adorned with a gold emblem.

 

Handcrafted in the same glass manufacture than the candles, the Diffuser is topped with a 100% recyclable aluminum ring. Through it, you place 8 natural, black rattan sticks.

 

The diffuser allows a 3 to 4-month long, passive diffusion.
