Pendant Lamp VL48 Radiohus
Vilhelm Lauritzen, one of the pioneers of Danish Modern, held the view that architecture is an applied art – he proved his point ever so impressively with the use of lighting in the houses designed by him. The VL48 Lamp is part of the Lauritzen family of luminaires and was originally designed for the new building of the Danish Broadcasting Company. The opening at its bottom offers a focused light which is directed downward, while the opaline glass gives off a warm, even lighting. The VL48 Radiohus lamp is suited to be mounted high as well as low.
Shade: hand-blown opaline glass, white; Pendant tube: drawn brass
